For Your Viewing Pleasure: Tyler Ennis’ Legendary Six Goal Game

Did you know Tyler Ennis scored six goals in one game? He accomplished this feat as a Medicine Hat Tiger on 2/27/2009 versus the Prince Albert Raiders in a 6-2 victory. The double hat trick set a franchise record for most goals scored by a single player in one game.

Ennis’ goals come at 1:16, 1:27, 1:49, 2:02, 2:50, and 3:41. Pay particular attention to his fourth, fifth, and sixth tallies.

(Worth noting is the broadcaster mentioning Ennis’ 4 goal, 1 assist game earlier in that season)

Every time you see Ennis strip the puck off a forechecker and race in the other direction, or dangle two defenders behind the net, or flash his sick hands on a shot, remember he’s been doing it for years.
