Stars and Black Holes: Senators @ Sabres: 12-10-13

12/11/13

Victory!  Yes, Ottawa is a team that gives up a ton of shots, playing into the Sabres’ inability to possess the puck, but…victory!

Stars:

  1. Zemgus Girgensons – Hard to argue with the man with the goal and the shootout winner.
  2. Christian Ehrhoff – An assist, 5 shots on goal, 8+ shots attempted, 27:33 of icetime.  Yeah, that’s a solid night.
  3. Ryan Miller – Spectacular, as usual.

Unsung Hero:

  • None.

The Robert Wade Niedermayer Memorial Black Holes:

  1. Henrik Tallinder - Pretty poor way to play the lone Senators goal.
  2. Drew Stafford - On a night when everyone was putting shots on goal, Drew Stafford had zero shots on goal.
  3. None.

Unseen Goat:

  • None.
