Vulgar Opinions: Bruins @ Sabres (2-15-13) Stars and Black Holes (NSFW)
I give up at trying to understand hockey.
Stars:
- Tyler Myers – There are some other names I could put here for sure. I went with Myers because I felt his goal really started things off in the third.
- Drew Stafford - Another guy that simply has not produced this year, and not for lack of trying. He had 5 shots on goal in addition to the two points tonight.
- Christian Ehrhoff - A two point night, a whopping 26:58 of icetime with no one else going over 20 minutes. What more can you ask for.
Unsung Hero:
- Ryan Miller - It’ll fade a bit with the way the game ended, but Miller came up big early.
Black Holes:
- Patrick Kaleta - I believe it was his giveaway that led to the first goal, and his missed assignment that led to the second. Not a good night.
- Mikhail Grigorenk0 – Just the ups and downs of a young player.
- None - A 4-2 win at home against a really good team is pretty textbook. Hard to name too many black holes when eight players get points and another 4 are positive on the night.
Unseen Goat:
- None.
