Preseason Preview, Game 5 – Sabres at Flyers
Yet again I missed a game because I was working. Meh, it’s gonna happen during the regular season, too, but at least then I’ll have DVR. The Sabres’ pre-season is winding down now, with only two games left.
Sabres Roster
(via Sabres.com)
FORWARDS: Tyler Ennis, Nathan Gerbe, Matt Ellis, Drew Stafford, Rob Niedermayer, Zack Kassian, Tim Connolly, Paul Gaustad, Derek Roy, Cody McCormick, Mark Parrish, Mike Grier
DEFENSE: Mike Weber, Andrej Sekera, Steve Montador, Chris Butler, Shaone Morrisonn, TJ Brennan
GOALIES: Jhonas Enroth, Ryan Miller
Flyers Roster
No clue because the Flyers haven’t released it yet to my knowledge.
Keep An Eye On…
Tyler Ennis and how he responds to playing again for the first time since the preseason opener. Family matters that take you out of the line-up are usually not so awesome, so here’s hoping he wasn’t struck by personal tragedy.
Weber and Sekera. How will the 07/08 Wonder Rookies play as a pair in their second preseason game together? They could be a force to be reckoned with if they can capture that magic again.
Zack Kassian. Criticized by some fans for not throwing punches at an interfering Chris Neil during the Ottawa game, Kassian still has a long way to go if he wants to earn a deal with the Sabres. He and Ennis had immediate chemistry together, so I’d expect them on a line together again tonight.
